Call any hour. If nobody picks up in the first few rings it is because someone is on another call, so leave a number and it gets returned. For an active leak, calling beats emailing every time.
Phone
(505) 578-1720, answered 24 hours a day. Tap it on a phone and it dials.
info@santafemoldremediation.com. Good for photos, inspection reports and non-urgent questions. Expect a reply the same business day.
Form
The form on this page reaches the same place. Four fields: name, phone, ZIP and a short description. You will get a call back.
What to tell us
The more of this you have, the faster the answer:
- Your town or neighborhood, and the ZIP.
- What you are seeing, and roughly how big it is. A hand-sized patch and a whole wall are different jobs.
- Whether water is running right now.
- Whether you know what caused it: a canale, a cooler, a supply line, a roof, snowmelt, unknown.
- The type of building: adobe, frame with stucco, manufactured, flat roof, pitched roof.
- Whether anyone in the household has asthma, allergies, a lung condition or a weakened immune system.
- Whether you are the owner, a tenant, a property manager or a caretaker, and who has access.
Photos help a great deal. A wide shot of the room, a close shot of the growth, and a shot of the ceiling or wall above it tells an experienced eye most of what it needs.
If there is water running right now
- Shut the water off at the fixture or at the main if it is plumbing.
- Move what you can out of the wet area, especially anything porous.
- Photograph everything before you move or throw out anything, for the insurance claim.
- Do not run the HVAC or the swamp cooler through the affected area, since that distributes the problem.
- Call. Fast extraction and drying is what keeps a water event from becoming a mold job.
Hours and response
Calls are answered 24 hours a day, every day. For an active leak the goal is same day or next day on site. For an old stain, a smell or a pre-purchase question, generally within the week. Estimates are free, in writing, and there is no travel charge anywhere in the service area.
Areas covered
Santa Fe and all of Santa Fe County, plus Los Alamos, White Rock, Española and the surrounding communities. The service areas page has the full list.
Not sure how bad it is? Call and find out.
Tell us what you are seeing and where. We will get a local remediation contractor out for a free on-site estimate, usually the same week. Nothing is owed for the visit.
Tap to call — 24/7(505) 578-1720Common questions
Is the phone really answered at night?
Yes, 24 hours a day. Water damage does not keep business hours and neither does the line.
How fast can somebody actually get here?
Same day or next day for an active leak anywhere in the service area. Within the week for something that has been there a while.
Is there a charge for the estimate?
No. The estimate is free and it comes in writing, and there is no travel charge inside the service area.
Can I send photos instead of scheduling a visit?
Send them and you will get a useful first read, but nobody can price a job honestly without standing in the room. Photos speed up the visit, they do not replace it.
I am a property manager with several buildings. Can you handle that?
Yes. Give us the portfolio and access details and it can be scheduled as a group rather than one call at a time.
